Edale Skyline Challenge

Route: A classic Peak District challenge walk including Mam Tor and the Great Ridge as well as the southern side of the Kinder Plateau.

We start by walking along Rushup Edge, across the head of the Edale valley to Brown Knoll and then to Kinder Low. We walk along the southern edge of the Kinder Plateau passing Crowden Tor and Ringing Roger. We come down from Kinder walking along a Roman road to the summit of Win Hill. We descend steeply to Hope before climbing up to the top of Lose Hill, walking along the Great Ridge to the top of Mam Tor and then back to the car park.
